Effective from 1st May 2022, we are making some changes to our list domain pricing to adjust for currency and general cost increases/decreases over the past several years.
While nobody likes increases, we haven't materially altered domain pricing in the last five years and up to now have absorbed cost increases in various domains as well as general infrastructure costs and currency shifts etc.
It is not the case that all domains are increasing, some popular domains will be cheaper and many are unaltered however the average price change for our 20 most popular domain names is 6.4%. This is broadly in-line with the general domain market changes over the past few years and Irish Domains remains one of the most competitive places to register your domain.
We've also extended the free features included with all domains registered via id.ie including:
- Free Anycast DNS
- Free Email Forwarding
- Free URL Redirection
- Free Domain Parking
New pricing will take effect for new domains registered from 1st May 2022 and for domains renewing from 15th May 2022.
