Services Migration - URL Redirection/Email Forwarding

Migration of URL Redirection/Email Forwarding services will take place at the same time as DNS migration of the relevant domains.

URL Redirection

In order for URL redirection to function, the corresponding domain must be on name servers a.dns.ie and b.dns.ie and the @ and www DNS records must alias on to the host name park.id.ie (IP address 79.170.241.246)

URL redirection can be managed via the domain details screen for each relevant domain ("Domains" -> "My Domains", then select "Manage Domain" for the domain in question. Click the "Domain Forwarders" menu item to add/edit or delete the forwarders. Note that Frame Forwarding is no longer an option - on migration, all frame forwards will be converted to Domain Forwarders (equivalent to Standard Forwarding on older platform).

Email Forwarding

In order for Email Forwarding to function, the corresponding domain must be on name servers a.dns.ie and b.dns.ie and the MX DNS record and SPF record must contain the host name park.id.ie (IP address 79.170.241.246)

Email Forwarding can be managed via the domain details screen for each relevant domain ("Domains" -> "My Domains", then select "Manage Domain" for the domain in question. Click the "Email Forwarders" menu item to add/edit or delete the forwarders. Note that Catchall or All-Domain Email Forwarding is no longer an option - on migration, all domain forwards will be converted to individual Email Forwarders.

Note that Email forwarding that is part of a regular Email Only or Web Hosting plan will not be migrated in this way, such addresses will be migrated at the same time as the overall services (and mailboxes etc) and may use other email and or hosting servers.
